wingman10
Tough region. Station Camp will be much better. However, that does not mean they will be in the top 3 or 4. Good uck to everyone. Time is near.

Never under estimate Beech (coaching) SC much improved but still a year away. HHS, LHS, & WC should be solid and could very well surprise some folks. PHS needs to find some way to drop down in classification

MJ.......for certain; I am a homer!! 2.) Gallatin........might have best squad 3.) Beech.......lost some good skill players 4.) Wilson Central.......have made some big changes on "O" 5.) Lebanon.........good QB, but coaching change is ??......might finish higher 6.) Hendersonville.......they lost a bunch of players 7.) Station Camp.......had good young players; can they play in Dist 9 8.) Portland......is coaching change an improvement?
milo118
From an outsider looking in: 1. Mt. Juliet - Good, real good. 2. Gallatin - new O/C will add a new element to an already solid offense. 3. Beech - on the way back up 4. Lebanon - New coaching staff will breath life back into that program. 5. Hendersonville - didnt have much in the scrimmage that i saw in the spring. before you kill me on here, yes I do understand that it was a spring scrimmage. 6. Station Camp - agree with earlier post that their time will come. But not this year. But very soon 7. Wilson Central- toss up between the "Kitties" and Portland 8. Portland - what is the answer? GREENWAVE84EG
My picks: 1. Gallatin 2. Mt Juliet 3. Beech 4. Station Camp 5. Hendersonville 6. Lebanon 7. Wilson Central 8. Portland The Wave should have one of their best teams in a good while and could make a deep playoff run. Mt Juliet and Beech both will be good and contend for the title. Station Camp will be improved while Hendersonville looks to be down from last year. Pretty much status quo it looks like for Lebanon, Wilson Central and Portland. Season starts in a little over 7 weeks, it should be an exciting one!
Squoshwave17
Lol at the folks putting Gallatin outside the top 3... From most reports I'm hearing, Gallatin is regarded as a top 3 team in 5A period. MJ will be good this year as always under Perry, but the lack of offense will be their demise. The Bears are still a legit playoff team though. Hendersonville likely won't make the playoffs this year, imo. Beech should sneak in. I think the 4th place spot goes to either SC or WC. So, here's my prediction: 1.)Gallatin (scary good) 2.)MJ (good defense, wing-t sucks) 3.)Station Camp (good athletes, poor coaching, also wing-t sucks) 4.)Wilson Central (showed signs of improvement last year) 5.)Beech (no Haymer, no Neal, No Zinchini) 6.)Hendersonville (got smoked by Smyrna in scrimmage, lost alot on the lines) 7.)Lebanon (new staff, new system, not much community support these days) 8.)Portland (lets be honest, it's Aric coaching Portland...)
