radio33
Union City got a small dose of PC this morning I dont think they wanted anymore. Big FB for UC got rocked early and couldnt feel his feet had to go to ER. I hope he is ok but PC man handled them. PC has a very good team and UC was no push over. Good luck UC and I hope your big man is alright. If anybody has heard anything on the player please post.

Hope he's ok.That's basically what I've been trying to tell Swo and some of the Union City faithful.Take Hyde out of the lineup and they're in trouble. If he came out early, could see Union City taking a pounding as I dodn't believe they're going to have a passing game and are going to depend on the running game. That 3 yards and a cloud of dust is probablu ok as long as Hyde is on the field but even with him.are going to have to sustain drives and he's going to get tired and take a pounding.Better hope he's on the field and hopefully don't fall a couple touchdowns behind.Don't think they can score quickly unless the other team turns the ball over and think they are going to be 1 dimensional.Believe teams are going to stack the line and hit Hyde every play. I hope the kid is ok to. UC will have a pretty good team. But the coaching staff best go to something besides the veer. Hyde is a good back but in my imo he ain't no Price. Its hard to win 1 dimensional. That was proved by Humboldt last year if they could have passed the ball more well who knows what would have happen. PollCat
Perry County steam rolled a major contender today against the Union City team. PC truthfully has better personal than year. I would be surprised if they arent back in the same boat as last year with a better shot. We will see what these boys are made of against Huntington tomorrow and Mckenzie next Friday! Do work boys! tradertwo
Listened to 99.3(Lexington)radio today and a caller that I'll just refer to as "Rick" was proclaiming that P.C. had started two-a-day practices the first of July, with at least one of the two in the hottest portion of the day and that they were in full pads and helmets even now with indexes in the 115-120 degree range(yesterday 126 in Jackson).C'mon coach, these young men have long, productive lives ahead of them and assuming that "Rick" is telling the straight of it,they're being put in jepordy healthwise and the program too as per the heat index rule(105 degrees). Is it worth the risk? A lot of folks would say yes...as long as nothing goes wrong, but after the fact? I've closely followed P.C.'s progress into an outstanding program, good kids, good fans, and good football in Linden...don't jeopordise what you've built for a little edge on the competition.
