Thought Greenfield was going to win after going up late by 9 points.Free throws hurt them bad.I thought it was a team with athletes that didn't play team ball against a team that has some athletes but not as many but plays better fundamental ball.Realy thought Greenfield had the game in the bag but let it slip away.

Humboldt just slips pass Greenfield tonight 67-58 a very sound fundamental team. Humboldt must play more fundamental basketball if they are to make a run this season! That as been a problem for Humboldt for years! We will see as the season goes on!

Wasn't able to make either game at Union City. Both the girls and the boys will make noise once tournament time gets here I think. By the sound of things on the radio, girls need point guard to add to the mix of things. Boys need to settle down, play team ball and they should be fine. This is all based on radio info. Good luck to all.

Union City's boys will be up and down all year...The youth will show at times...Playing three freshmen all the time will do that...These young guys are going to be something else when they get some more high school experience though...

Lake County adds 2 wins to their belt Friday and Saturday by opening district play with a 74-40 blowout win over Halls and follows it up with a big win over Raytown,Mo 89-82 in the big deal classic in Dyersburg. The Falcons are 2-1 on the season and have a big early season district showdown with Humboldt tuesday night in Tiptonville. Their loss was a 2 point setback to jackson Northside. Good luck falcons and keep working hard.

That's a nice win by Lake Co. over Raytown. Raytown is a MUCH larger school than Lake Co. Sounds like you guys are bound for another great season!

I thought Lake Co played well against Raytown.Rafael Tyler came in banged up and couldn't hardly run at times. Was hurt against Halls.Had heard he wasnt going to play much but was going to try.The injury he has could take a few days to a week.Raytown took about a 7 point lead by dominating Lake Co on the boardswith Kevin Thompson at 6'7,Elijah Lamb at 6'5 and a couple players in the 6'4 range..And Diago Tyson ,a 6'1 junior guard was hitting three's from 5 feet beyond the 3 point line.Lake Co came back and took a 2 point lead at the half and the second half put the clamps on the Tyler kid and went on to about a 12 point lead late in the game.Everyone on Lake Co contributed at on time or another.Zay Coleman had a very good game and Rafael did as well, especially in the second half.Swift had 2 or 3 slams against a bigger Raytown squad.Devon Jones hit a couple big baskets when the game was withinh 3 points.Ricky Boyd played well the whole game.Same for Stetson Swift and Caleb Bledsoe off the bench.Lake Co should be atough out as the season progresses since anyone on the team can score and not built off one player.A team can take Rafael out of the game somewhat maybe but coleman can do a lot of the same things.Should be fun.I look for Lake Co to get betetr after Christmas as well.
