Oneida vs. Oliver Springs

Rufus think this is a big game for Oneida. Our players zoned out pretty early against Oakdale, but when your up 14 - 0 after one offensive possession, kinda hard to stay on the gas pedal. There shouldn't be any lack of focus or entusiasium for this game. Oneida needs to stay the course and Oz needs to right the ship.....who has the best slingshot this week?

Oneida by 14,a more physical team than OS.

This will be a huge game for both teams.

For OZ--a chance to right some wrongs and give this team the confidence it needs entering into the play-offs. Could be the game that gets them over the hump and could possibly win out. Maybe could bury some of the nay-sayers and get a few more on board.

For Oneida--a chance to keep things on a roll and start to jockey for position for the play-offs. Put themselves in position to Host instead of ride in the post-season.

It's never easy to win at Oneida. Great venue for Friday night lights.

Oneida consistency just too much in the end for the Bobcats.

Indians--34

Bobcats--24

One thing Oneida fans shouldn't do is put too much in comparing scores from the Greenback game. OS never showed up for that game after Kingston won the game at the end of week 0 with that incredible run by Szozda. OS would have struggled with anybody that night, much less a team as good as Greenback.

But to me the key is Oliver Springs is playing four quarters of football. Two of their three losses they have been up by at least 2 TDs in the third quarter and let them get away. If they figure out how to put four quarters together they could be the best team going to the playoffs out of District 3-A or 4-A.

Goose you may be on to something,I'll have to admitt, before the season started,I thought OS was the team to beat. Alot of good football in region 3 and 4,several good teams. Grace is on a different level, they've really moved up.
