I agree.

I've seen Wayne Co three this year and they can pound the rock. I've not seen Perry Co all this year but after what I was told on how they man handled mTp last Friday; this team could be the real deal.

This should be one heck of a ball game. I may just skip the mTp-Loretto game and be in PC that night.

It's in Waynesboro this year. :thumb:

I can guarantee you that the stadium will be rocking and PACKED. :thumb:

Ok there might have been a lot of good lake Co. folks that had nothing to do with the car thing. But there is also a lot of PC folks had nothing to do with 2 kids coming here wanting to play football and we all got called cheaters and got punished. So if we are cheaters you my friend are a vandle along with the rest of LC.

what punishment did pc get, the 2 boys and the 3 teams that had to keep the losses are the only ones being punished.what is going to be really wrong if pc gets to host a playoff game.

What's going to be even more wrong than that is when PC plays your team(whichever one that may be) and beats them like a Voodoo Drum(I hope your from Huntingdon) cause that will mean we will beat you in your home stadium. :thumb:

What happened at Perry County was uncalled for and irresponsible but it had no reflect on our football program nor our school administration. However, what Perry County did reflects on the program and the school administration as well. I understand that none of the community nor PC players had anything to do with this, but it was the responsibility of the administration to make sure the kids were elegible. The TSSAA should of granted all teams a win that Perry County beat with the inelegible players, and not just vacate PC's wins because it was in fact cheating.

I bet it raised more than a few.

It sure did. I even watched the game today between PC and MTP. PC looks very impressive. They have come a long way since game 1. Good solid win for PC. Defense looked very good and so did the offense. Tucker looked sharp in all areas. WC will have to play well to win but so will PC.

    • Winfree's senior year was the season she needed to secure more college interest. That opportunity was taken away from her. A lot of false assumptions can be made about what happened and what the options are. Unfortunately, the former coach and administration did not allow Winfree to have due process. A lawsuit was filed for a reason, and it will run its course by people who conduct discovery and take depositions. Unless the parties settle out of court, a lot of the pertinent issues will come to the public surface. I wrote about many of the issues here: https://bdnewsletter.news/2023/11/17/grounds-for-investigation-and-suspension/ I interviewed Winfree after she was dismissed from the team and wrote about it here: https://bdnewsletter.news/2023/12/01/a-new-interview-with-sable-winfree/ Winfree had been on teams in Warren County since the fourth grade and never been dismissed from a team. The real questions are why was Winfree dismissed from the team, and why the administration backed a coach whom they did not rehire.
    • What is the hold up here? I have not heard anything in weeks. Are they waiting for the right person or is something else going on?
    • Per usual, we'll be hard to beat in the regular season, I'm sure. It's the post season that I'm more worried about, specifically the coaches. Maybe they'll be able to make some adjustments that will keep the momentum in our favor. How's Grays recovery coming along?
    • Something don’t add up here a college coach is not going to turn away a good player they need just because they didn’t get along with their high school coach
    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
