This Friday's game between Karns and Hardin Valley should be a good one. Karns wants this win to improve their playoff seeding and Hardin Valley wants this win to avoid a .500 season or even being bumped from the playoff picture. This is a BIG rivalry game and if both teams can play to their own potential and avoid costly mistakes, it should be a good game. I'm giving the slight edge to Karns because they are coming off a big win over Anderson County and a bye week, while Hardin Valley comes off of a disappointing loss the Anderson County.

I like Karns in this one too. HVA is just too one-dimensional, plus they have to be reeling after the loss to AC. However, this is must-win game for HVA, because I don't think they will get into the postseason with 5 wins, with such a weak resume. If Karns can stop Dorian Eskridge (or slow him down like AC did), Karns wins.

Hey, your finally back...Did you ever make it off the field a few weeks ago against Oak Ridge, cause i know i saw a lot of Hardin Valley players beating the ground with their fists face down on the turf that night, so just checking! Glad to see you have made it back posting after that humbling night :)

tnhawk, I think you can ask the same question for the Hawks, one team Karns did beat that you did not to answer your question was AC we will see about the running part soon enough good luck to both teams. Oh I forgot you guys lost to Heritage as well just saying

Warning, this tnhawksguy, who i am sure isn't a bad kid, but he can talk smack with the best of them gokarns! lol He talked mad smack before the OR game, so just warning you guys! haha..Smack talk or not, the game has to be won on the field, not by mouths...should be a great game. Hawksnest, i am sure your a good kid, i just like to give ya a hard time young man...Just learn that if you talk smack..well, you better be able to back it up! Wish both teams and injury free game nonetheless.

      Yep . You are correct sir. Nobody there gives a ship about football.. built baseball new field house. Put new bleachers and new floor in basketball gym. Built band boosters a new concession building AT fball field. New tennis courts , new seats at softball field…… administration wouldn’t even install hand rail on 40 year old bleachers for safety and ADA requirements . It’s insane to ask them to care about who they hire for fball coach . The only way football will ever get what it needs is a thorough house cleaning from top to bottom. Coaching staff, administrators, central office. You’re correct. Fball is at the bottom of the pecking order and this post is the last attention those kids will get this season ……

      The 106, 113,126,132,175 were guys that started for us Tuesday. SO no we did not lose 14 starters between Tuesday and Thursday.  There are two more chances to seee those match ups.

      PC was really really good before the past few years. In 2018 (just 7 years ago), PC had their best chance to win the State Championship before losing a 13 pt lead in the 3rd qtr to the eventual State Champs (Greenfield) that had, I believe, 3 D1 prospects (two played for Tn Vols).

      This is correct. I made the exact same observation about 10 or so years ago. I used to watched PC get beat by the Clarkrange's of the world by 30-40 points. Then year after year, there were noticeable changes to the PC program. They started AAU and playing together all the time. Whether that is solely on current SC coach or the fact the players played together ALL the time, I'm not sure. But PC basketball got TONS better once that system was in place.

      So Sammy, you lost 14 wrestlers from Tuesday to Thursday? Now I do understand the flu has sucked this year, most of Soddy had it earlier in the season and had to cancel going to a tourney. Plus it helps keep the other team healthy not having to wrestle sick guys.  Just hate sickness and injuries knocked out pretty much 14 guys that wrestled against Stone Memorial and Sam Everett!  I was hopeful to see Sudderth vs Wade and Davis vs Harris. Guess we will hopefully see those matchups in a few weeks with sectionals!
