It will be a tough year for Marion Co. They have a very good coach, but the talent is not there.

Wingman, Old Pirate has been telling folkes it takes a couple of decades to build a stud farm & even then theys going to be some lean years. Signal Mountain looked unbelievable in Jamboree. Dare I say better than even Baylor. Def bigger and more athletic. The guys have their hands full to say the least. Need to just focus on getting better and take one game at a time. It's a long season

I think you skillet heads better just write off the game with the Seagulls now. You won't have to see to much of them to find out they are at a another level, probably the best team in the area of any class. Their middle school team might could win 2A.

I have heard that Signal is the real deal. They are one of the best 4A teams around every year. You are right pastry. They have outgrown SP and most of the other small schools in the area.

Agree. Coach Mac will make them better, but talent level is not there

Pastry is not completely accurate. Varsity has outgrown everyone. Their middle school team is historically not very good at all. I don't think all the good players come out until they are juniors;)

It won't be a slobber knocker. I don't think many teams in the area can play with Signal. Signal will beat East Hamilton by multiple scores.

Heard they looked pretty good at the ms jamboree. Brought 2 teams with them. Maybe folks is lining up earlier, like Walmart the day after Thanksgiving to get the $5 flat screen.
