CAK vs. Milan ( This Bradley man vs. this Morris man)

I sincerely believe you could and I agree, our guys really have to be prepared and have their nose to the grindstone if they want to win this game. They do have to study hard.

As for the intimidation, my take is this....'recent events' do play into this. I think we have an advantage when we step onto the field. I think the Milan players will look at our guys as an imposing, somewhat intimidating force just because of what happened last year. It has to be in the back of their mind. It's real no matter what they say or how they prepare.

This however could work against us...we could come out lax and rest on our laurels from last year not realizing we did get a bit lucky to have the outcome we had. I think the start of the game is going to have a huge impact on emotion and confidence levels coming out of the gate.

Milan must have a good start imho and if that happens, CAK can be in some real trouble, real fast.

I also concur with govolsknox....lots of points, CAK comes out on top....even if it's just by one (with a slight edge coming from the CAK fans).

Milan is no doubt a HUGE underdog in this game. They have to accept that and play all out for 4 qtrs. They have nothing to lose and everything to gain. They definitely have the talent to make this a heck of a game. Just have to play as hard as they can and not worry about making mistakes. Both teams will make at least 1 at some point...... how they respond will be the deciding factor!!!

That's a good post Big P....but your signature really does speak volumes.

There is no way a team with that much experience is a "HUGE" underdog. Recent history alone has you guys in the last 4 of 5 CHAMPIONSHIP games. What happened in 2010?

Milan deserves every bit of respect we give Alcoa....all day long. I am pretty sure our team and players know this, I just think it bears repeating.

We got down 28-6 to Goodpasture in the semi's. We mounted a huge comeback.... but fell short by 1td. Almost 5 championship games in a row.

    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
    • Dorian Eskridge had a great Junior year, highlighted by a great game to lead HVA to an upset win at OR that year. I think that was 2010. In 2011 OR won at HVA. OR had a real good QB that year l think. Dorian Eskridge had a great senior year also. He always played hard from the DCM videos l saw.
    • It seems we lost a ton to graduation. We shall see how it shapes up for 2024.
