Patriot Pride W.A.O.
From my understanding our non district games are liberty, beech, and ridgeway along with our district play. So what does everyone think about the big red next year? Schedule and all Don't care who we play. Gonna feel good to be feared again. Can't wait to play Northeast and Beech. Sorry about the Dickson County rivalry game being gone, but Ridgeway is a good addition to our schedule.
QBClubPrez
Simply heart breaking to see the end of the rivalry with Dickson County as far as we all know it! That game has been played every year since 1977 and was as even of a rivalry over the years as one could ever hoped for! Know that every possible avenue was exhausted on Henry County's end to keep this game on the schedule for the forseeable future. Unfortunately, the importance and passion for this game was not shared by our Dickson County bethren which is equally heart breaking! Also, it might be worthy to note, Henry County was not Beech's first choice either to retain on its schedule. Nonetheless, they did agree to another 2 years of playing the Patriots. WE better hope that each Clarksville High School starts to experience some good fortune in football as well as Springfield!...we need the support of these schools to help further our program....which traditionally, the support has been plain ol' poor! Love them or hate them, hats off to Liberty! That's one team you don't have to worry about their motives or plans....they simply want to play! Thank you Crusaders! MSURacer
Love the addition of Ridgeway to the schedule. Excited about the team next year. Lots of talent back on both sides of the ball.

MSURacer
who all does hc have coming back? As it stands, we only lose a handful of starters on either side of the ball. Most of our O-line should be back, both receivers, and two very good running backs who will be juniors. Then on defense, I believe we only lose 2 or 3 guys. There will be a lot more experience, but I think the biggest difference next year will be depth. Unless a ton of kids quit, all 3 varsity classes will be good both in numbers and talent. Biggest question mark right now is quarterback. We lost a very good athlete there. We always seem to be fine at that position though. Place kicker is another. Our all time leading PAT kicker graduated, but our kickoff specialist and punter are both very good, and both of them return.
MSURacer
Good luck Henry County. Good luck to Oak Ridge as well. Off topic, but are you guys playing in 5A or did you decide to play up? Just curious.

RedSwarm10
That's a tough non district schedule. Liberty was in the 4A semis this year and I think they bring alot back. Beech will still have Hurd and Ridgeway will probably be one of Shelby County's better teams yet again. If we can go 2-1 with that it will be a success. Beyond that, barring some unforeseen circumstances (which are always very possible I suppose), I don't expect us to lose a district game. Northeast will come back down to earth, probably hard, after losing Reeves-Maybin. And I think we just have too much talent coming back on both sides for everyone else. Obviously very early, seeing as how we're just a month removed from the season, but I see 9-1 or 8-2 at worst, and we should be set up nicely for a playoff run. I'd like to know who the front runners for QB are. Randolph will be a senior, but unless he is head and shoulders the best passer, I'd love to see one of our speedsters in the backfield alongside Henderson, whether it be Thompson, Love, or Benau. Here's to a LONG off season. Go Pats!!!
