olddevil
long season for HC cant throw to the tall receiver every play. Why not?? Seems like a pretty good plan to me!!! GO BIG RED
olddevil
QB is slow Not fast like Marsalis and Naji but truly not slow.(not as fast as the #34s in HC's recent or distant past either) GO BIG RED Edited July 18, 2013 by olddevil
doppelganger1989
QB is slow You'll think their whole team is slow when you see BHS on the same field. We're waiting for you all.

Something is fishy with this guy^ He claims to be a Beech fan, yet all of his posts are about Henry County. I smell a troll. It's probably fastcat with a new username.
MSURacer
QB is slow In light of this outstanding analysis, I simply hope we can win a game or two.
olddevil
Big crowd at practice last night. It was the first time onthe field due to the rain and things were spirited but a little sloppy. Special teams portion was impressive;the punters were booming it and the place kickers were long and accurate. Over 100 kids dressed for varsity one of the largest groups ever. However, I hear that the Frosh numbers are down. More tonight at 6:30. GO BIG RED

We are small and slow and that is not a good combo to put against the already self proclaimed 2013 5A champs. Saw today where your massacre of Station Camp will be shown on ESPN.I suppose that you guys figure you don't need a full week of prep for our little and slow Patriots. Not really fair to us since we will have less time for film study but it probably doesn't matter anyway-- GO BIG RED Edited July 24, 2013 by olddevil

Still some very good players in that bunch if some of the better ones stick with it, similar to last year's group of seniors. Hopefully the smaller numbers are just a blip on the radar. I'm curious to see how Inman and HC middle look this year.

olddevil
How many are on the freshmen team? I have heard the number 25; alot of quality but low numbers..Usually the numbers increase after schooll starts but those kids are far behind and have a loy of catching up to do. gr8tn08
Are there any scrimmages scheduled for HC before the jamboree?
MSURacer
Are there any scrimmages scheduled for HC before the jamboree? I've heard we are scrimmaging Milan and Dickson County at home, and then MBA in Nashville. I can't confirm any of those but the Milan scrimmage, which I believe is August 9th.
