Pretty quiet folks. I think Cloudland and Elizabethton have a very good shot to win at home. It will be much tougher for Hampton on the road, but the Lady Dogs have the talent and coaching to get it

It might be quiet in here but it sure isn't on Grainger thread and its about stupid but good luck to all the teams in this area.

I actually think Hampton has a better shot than Cloudland. I honestly believe OS is a better team than Grace, just not on that particular night.

The Lady Bulldogs of Hampton went to Grace Christian and won a road sub-state game, 45-25! Great job Lady Dogs!

Congrats Lady Dogs! Also, congrats to Elizabethton who defeated Alcoa tonight and Cloudland who defeated Oliver Springs. Three teams from Carter County going to the Glass House. Way to go ladies!

The lady landers pulled through against a very fast bobcats team. The mascot is fitting. District 1 has proven once again that they are the elite group in girls high school basketball. They are the box office babies, the toughest of the tough. Its just a matter of time before gold balls flood our gyms here in the far east. This could be the basketball experience of a lifetime whooooo!!!

      Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?

      Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
