Coach Heath is not going to be the head coach. Reports are that he might not be coaching at all. The new coach might be constructing a new staff. The talk is several of the current assistants could be looking into the administrative side of the business.

Are you joking me? Grider is letting this new coach fire all of our coaches? This is a bunch of mess. Grider needs to let that other Grider man be our coach if that Rankin man is going to stay at Alcoa. That other Grider man is a better coach than Grider. He would probably win more championships than Grider did. You think im joking but im not.

I'll just be glad when it all gets ironed out and we can just go from there I guess.

Question: rumor is that sp has hired several assistants from north jacksons staff, any truth to that?

Like I said earlier. I really don't think the hire isn't coming from the north. I just hope we have stability from the hire.

 

If you read one of my later post the OC from riverdale hasn't heard back from Grider( as of last week) so I doubt it will be him. Money is on guy from GA

Ross has ties to the valley. He has turned down several head coaching jobs at large schools. He has waited for the right opportunity to get closer to this area. If he lands he will be here a long time. His wife won't let him go anywhere once she gets back here. You can bank on that.

Edit: Of course the best coach Jasper ever had came from Jackson County . . . Bridgeport High in fact.
