Wayne County vs Decatur County Riverside

This Week 1 match up should show how improved both teams are from last season. Both went 4-6 in the last regular season and they shared a common opponent in Perry Co. which both beat handily. WC has nowhere to go but up and this should be a good one to get the season started. It's almost football time in Wayne County. Thoughts?

I think WC defense is what's going to be the difference maker this year, they are just mean against the run but at the same time WC has shown that they can move the ball well. Can't wait to get under the lights next week!

Riverside has a great qb..... he is being looked at by several D1 schools.  I like WC in this one as well, but gonna have to do a lot more than stop the run.

Riverside has looked impressive this preseason. I haven't seen much of Waybe County. Should be a good game

I don't know much about Riverside do I can't say, but Wc is going to be very physical on both sides of the ball with lots of size and speed. WC is a very well coached team

WC has to be able to stop the run and pass. If WC is lacking in the secondary passing will win the game for Riverside.

Wc secondary has looked good so far in scrimmage, that's one area that's loaded with seniors

This will be a great game and i believe that the 'Cats will win this one because of their stingy Defense. Riverside's Luke Ward is a great QB and i believe he will have a great year in District 15A but going up against a very well rounded Wildcat team and it being in Waynesboro, all nods for Wayne County.

What happened during the Davidson Academy scrum. I heard DA coach shoved a WC player.Thats odd. WC gets into fight every pre-season. Maybe coaches trying to get a little agressiveness out of team.
