7-aaa offseason thread

Been a pretty quiet offseason for 7-AAA, but got some coaching news. It appears Blackman DC Steve Williams is in the frontrunner for Nashville Overton vacancy. Blackman fans, how do you feel about this?

Even when you schedule teams out of state, you have some like Worthington-Kilburn from Ohio that fail to hold up their end the second year, leaving coaches scrambling to find a game to make up for it.

Teams like Bowling Green, KY?

I hated to hear that about Bowling Green. Growing up in KY I expected more from a program like BG has had. There is no excuse for backing out of the game with Blackman. I know MJ is really looking forward to playing Blackman after getting beat by the Blaze last year.

Well Blackman has stepped up their schedule by playing Hoover.  Anyone else doing ANYTHING?

I've been told that R'Dale is upgrading their facilities with sidewalks, ramps, and elevators so Aydelott can coach into his 90's from a wheelchair. 

 

I also heard they have a kid benching 135 and squatting 205 now so any weight room issues you may have should be put to rest. 

 

I believe they are upgrading their website with the 2012 roster and stats. 

 

Aydelott got a hair cut...do you approve?

Oakland will be getting a new player at the end of this month. Jacorey Smith from Ga will be moving in with his cousins Josh smith and emannuel smith! Here is his highlight http://www.hudl.com/athlete/3141028/highlights/124059375

Sounds like Oakland will be loaded again and may have even more talent  than they had last year.

 

A lot of talk revolving around Blackman and Oakland again being the top two. What about Siegel, Smyrna and Riverdale? Who could be the surprise team ?
