What do Y'all think the top 10 6A teams will be in 2014?

Its funny, everyone on here has said Maryville for next year, which I agree with,  and yet some of your fans complain.

Maryville. State Champs in 2013 with the whole front 7 coming back on defense plus Paul Bristol at corner. 5 Starters returning on offense.

 

Blackman and Oakland have a lot returning.

 

Sevier County has a lot coming back.

Blackman has a good chunk of their offense returning, but they lose a TON on defense. Oakland is probably going to be better on both sides of the ball, but Blackman will be the more explosive of the 2 on offense

Will Oakland have a QB that can throw next year?  IMO, if Oakland had a passing game, they would be dangerous.....and I'm not talking about throwing it 40 times a game, just something to keep defenses honest and help move the chains....maybe be able to throw it 12-14 times a game, but be efficient when they do throw it.

Well for a large part of the year, they had been pretty efficient throwing football, Blackman just happened to be the one game they really struggled with it. They have a few options at Quarterback. But your right, if they can throw it efficiently 12-15 times a game, they will be awfully tough to beat

I really hate to hear about the injuries that some of the Whitehaven players had suffered this year ( a bad part of this game that takes time away from these young men). Hope they are all healing up and getting better each day.

 

Wish we could have played Da Haven in the title game this year. It would have been nice to see how the game would have turned out. The "lasting impression of a yellow flag " was all cleared up after our win and hopefully more to come in the future. It would be nice to have 4 State Titles in a row but I am very happy with 3 out of the last 4 years.

Good to hear... I'm sure this season it Will Be The Red Dragon vs. Da Haven... This 2015 Class is something like the 2013 class with a Better QB.
