tidepride1
Worst team they have had in many years. agreed will be competitive but wayyyyyyyyy down compared to the last 8 or 9 years however since the east is still so weak they still have a chance to go deep in playoffs if they want it bad enough
OldIndian1
I predict 7-3 with a deep run.

Pirate2003
Which 3 teams? Take your pick. If the schedule is the same as last season then it will be tough. Bell County, Hixson, Sequatchie County, Boyd Buchanan, Polk County & Marion County will all be tough games to win. Bell County, Sequatchie, Boyd and Marion all 4 have most of their team returning. Hixson and Polk lost some but they are big schools so you never know what they will have in 2014. Sale Creek, Lookout Valley, Whitwell & Grundy are the only 4 games I see that should definitely go the pirates way.

I see a potential for 5 losses but you never know. Young team with unproven talent. Should be battle tested for another deep run in the 1A playoffs barring injuries. Pirates still own the east until proven otherwise! Edited May 5, 2014 by piratetom

OldIndian1
I will say Boyd, Bell, Jasper (if Zeman is still there), possibly Sequatchie or Hixson.

OldIndian1
Well I am curious about something. Jasper and Sequatchie return most their teams and both hammered Boyd last season. Why do you believe Boyd will be tougher than these two?
bossbro
That's right the Bucs win one every three or four years ......
