UpperCumberlandMan
This will upset you (UCM) cookeville just got a legit D1 transfer who already holds 5 offers from SEC schools. He is 6'3" 225 and Connor York can't hold his jockstrap haha and 72 td's in a season is big shoes to fill.
oldsc7
Yes he is just enrolled at the beginning of the new semester. Well here is something Connor York can't say 5 SEC offers UT, Vandy, Ole Miss, Miss St, and UK. I would rather have those.
oldsc7
York was the whole teams offense. He was the only player on the team that was even worth worrying about on the offensive side of the ball. I saw them against SC, Tyner, and ND. Without York that offense does not go...the RB is average and he will be the 4th best RB in the district this coming year.

His stats should be pretty dang impressive considering the district he will be playing in now is weaker than the one he left from.

He did have like 1400 yards as a soph. And Stevenson wr had 1300 receiving and was all-state.

When Manning was a soph, I would have thoought he would have huge offers by now.....but some kids don't improve or don't have teams around them to suceed. I hope this guy does well. Look at Charlie High and Brock McCoin. Charlie was getting huge offers and no one outside this area knew McCoin. Charlie left UT, now has left Tech. Word I hear is that MCCoin has a chance to start as a RFrs next season at Tech. Edited January 12, 2014 by UpperCumberlandMan

Cookeville will be much better over all than last year. They will also be much better than the team he came from. Charlie High wasn't offered by any major DI school. McCoin wasn't either. This kid is legit...obviously. Cookeville will give him the chance to see what he can do. It will be interesting to see where they play him. He is big and fast. He can play numerous positions. He looks like a Harrison Smith prototype to me...but may be bigger and faster.
Guest Termite
I'm hearing there could be another or 2 besides Gabe.

Teams he will be playing won't be use to seeing players of his caliber. Charlie High wasn't getting huge offers. The only true offers he had was from Tech and TN-Martin. He was a preferred walk on at UT.
UpperCumberlandMan
Two qb's that will suprise in 8aa. will be Quals from LA and Stanton from UHS. Quals look bad early in the season with not much help around him. By the end of the season he looked like a diffrent player. He might have the most weapons with Hollars, Eldrige, Linger, and a all district TE. He throws a good long ball, but needs to work on accuracy on short passes. Stanton for UH looked good as a freshman filling in for injured York for 3 starts. Also looked good in mop up duty first two games before he got hurt. He is a tall kid, pushing 6'3, but needs to fill out weight wise. Has a big time arm, also a stud baseball pitcher. I think his dad was a pitcher at MTSU. CHS no matter how good in the regular season, will be at disadvantage once the get to playing the Blackmans and Maryvilles in the playoffs. Lost their best rusher(Germanous), receiver(Pincheon), and 2 best lineman( Legand Daurdy)(Speaker) from last year. Look at the district teams he played compared to Wilson Central. A legit D1 prospect is always going to be the best player on the field and it's still going to show even if playing on a weak team.
