SdotBears
Jake, I had heard the LB coach. And I agree, just don't see a coordinator leaving, especially if he's the baseball coach too. Position coach to head coach is a big jump. Someone with experience would definitely be a plus.
SdotBears
I got to apologize to go bears89. I heard today that Maryville defensive coordinator is in the lead. Sorry I doubted you my man.
Governm
Getting Gaylor would be huge for Sevier County, the guy is a defensive genius.
qb#7
Who is the AD at SC?
BarneySox2007
I would never say never but I just don't see Gaylor being interested for as few years as he has left. The man can retire now and left a head coaching position that he did very well at in Clinton but had his fill of it. He had some major back issues during his stay at Maryville and has always had us concerned he might retire at anytime. I would have to see this to believe it so I wouldn't hold my breath or get caught to much in the rumor vine on this one. He has nothing to prove by taking this job because he has already done that at Clinton. I see this job being taken by someone much younger.
