white co. beat ooltewah tonight 64-49. never was close. wc led by 20-25 points most of the game. wc played really well tonight. how did the crossville game turn out tenntwin?

Cumberland County down by double digits at half to Karns, but make a little comeback and cut it to 2 late, end up losing 71-65.  I understand that Stone won by 2 against Livingston Academy.  LA without their football players - from my understanding.

Not as good as last year, but several good players with size and quickness.  It was a good matchup for CCHS.  CCHS cranked up the intensity in the second half, hopefully it flows over to the games tomorrow:  Haywood H.S. from Memphis and Farragut H.S. during CCHS's HOF day.

LA lost by 1 in overtime at Stone. They only suited 7 players. Looking forward to full strength soon.

Yes, Haywood is good, real good.  They were undefeated last year until their regions in West TN area.  They were deep and loaded.  They have a finalist of Mr. Basketball last year in Jordan Varnado - about 6'8" and very athletic.  His brother played at Miss. State and NBA.  They beat CCHS by 22 and Stone by 23 and Walker Valley about the same.

Yes, I wasn't able to go, (had tix to knoxville already) but from what I heard, Smith Co just wouldn't go away. Sounds like a big improvement for them.  I'll take any win we can get this year though...

White county beat York by 24 points tonight. Pierce Whited came off the bench and hit NINE 3 pointers for a total of 31 points. Go Warriors!

A lot of fouls called, but wasn't all that bad. A York player got an intentional foul for hanging onto Kordell when he was going up for a dunk. A couple of technicals called.

Smith County lost to Oakdale.
