I am really just not getting to read into all of this fully, as Friday is my day off. So Farragut will be 5A, I saw that, but there is some discussion that we might fall in to the Chattanooga district, WOW! That will be brutal for travel. I really hope that Maryville decides to move up, that would be a very good thing for us. I thought the whole reason they even allowed teams to move up is solely so that Maryville could move up, and now they might not.

My understanding is that they will redo enrollment numbers again in two years, so this could all change then. Also, from a couple of people I talked to, they seem to think that Farragut could be back to 6A by that point. They also told me that for some reason Farragut turned in last year's enrollment number as opposed to this years, IS THAT TRUE?? Were there guidelines to what numbers were to be turned into the TSSAA? They two guys I talked to seemed to think that if Farragut had turned in their current numbers, that we would still be in 6A, pure speculation, but interesting nonetheless.

If they turned in wrong numbers that needs to be corrected. IF Farragut's enrollment is that large and they should be in 6A, then LaVergne drops out and Farragut becomes the 8th team in Region 1.

I have heard some whispers about a Knoxville area team being pulled into District 5, but everyone has mentioned Lenoir City. Farragut has not been really thought of there.

Wow.. I smell a rat. I think I read before when this in beginning was being debated that the top 32 are ones usually winning and in playoffs anyways year in and year out, thus putting them in own class would make it fair to other teams, which would be new 5A teams. These 32 teams aint the best! Maybe my memory foggy on new 6A goung to be the best of biggest,, but it still unfair imo. Make 6A top 48 in size of enrollment. Then break down rest into the remaining five classes. But the big boys with fancy suits in offices don't listen to players, coaches, and common sense farm folk it appears.
