wildcat89
MTCS loses this week. Mark it down. Who else in the top 7 in 2A has a chance to go down.If I was you I would be apologizing before I get kicked off over a meaningless poll, they don't mean nothing anyway. Mousetrap
Bye Buddah. Guess you have to find another board to whine about the Huntland game.

thelawking
Hampton gets a first place vote?????????????????? Geewhiz, I guess some sportswriter in upper east needs to not be allowed to vote anymore. They lost a game at home to a team that does not get a first place vote. Sometimes voters should vote on what happens on the field and not what they want to happen. Oh well, it get's settled on the field not in the polls. Let's keep rolling. TheAmbassador
In no particular order, the top three teams look pretty close. Trousdale should still be in the top 4 as well.
Intense
I don't give a rat's behind about polls..never have. I believe we could beat a few folks in this top 10 I don't believe.....I know you could. These polls are voted on by a bunch of sportswriters who have never seen most of these teams. I would say TC is the most dangerous "non top ten ranked" team in the state. West Tenn will have concern for TC until you finally lose in playoffs...if you lose! stangfan89
I can't believe Huntingdon gets beat, to borrow a quote from another member, "like a rented mule" (love that one) by Mckenzie and Stangs, remain in top ten? I say this and I'm a huge Stang fan; just perplexing. We loose 2 straight games by a combined, 61-14 and stay in top ten?????? I, like most of the sports writers, have not seen most the other teams, but if my team the Stangs are #10, that means there are some really bad teams out there. But what do I know, the Stangs were 5/5 or 6/4 in '99 and made finals. so maybe we going all the way........... and Coach Swenson has some tricks up his sleeve.......
