They had turnovers for a reason. It's called pressure defense. To say that if AC hadn't had all those turnovers they wouldn't have lost is crazy. It be like saying if CC had shot so well they wouldn't have won. There was a reason for those turnovers, it's called defense.

 

Actually no it wasn't. Yes a few were but more times than not ac threw the ball away that is not defense that's just poor execution. Cc played a great game but to say cc defense caused all those turnovers is crazy. Ac helped cc more than cc did. Beck ac turned over 5 straight times to start the game. Credit to cc for capitalising on em but ac beat theirselves

Centrals win may be their only win. Girls and boys yes will have a hard getting 5 wins total. Grandson tells me talent and interest is low.

i heard the same thing R&B. heard their big guy quit or something. That's crazy! They have enough good kids there to be competitive in our district but for some reason it just hasn't worked out.

CC lost by 20 at bearden. Bearden just to big inside. Gillenwater hurt, only scored 4 or 5. Played a lot of young guys tonight? Must be getting them ready for district play. Big guy for bearden had 36 points, prolly 15 rebounds. Initial defense was good, they'd miss shots and he'd clean it up on weak side. They play next week up at CC.

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
