Henry County is losing something like 31 seniors to graduation. In total, I'm not sure we have more than 5 or 6 starters coming back. Gotta replace all 3 tailbacks, starting QB, both starting receiver

This is torture Olddevil. I suggest we make predictions until we know the good news. I'll go first.

 

Good news prediction #1: The Patriots will be featuring Marsalis Teague taking snaps from John Hudson for the 2015 football season.

Congrats to rising senior Gunner Osbron on picking up his first offer from Navy a few days ago! 

 

Also I don't think I mentioned it a few pages back with the others who signed, but a late congrats to Kyle McKee on signing with Sewanee a couple months ago! He quietly had a very solid HS career and I hope his success continues at the next level.

Very curious.

I figured that by now everyone knew about of what I spoke. It is simply the return of the twins that we lost prior to spring practice.It gives us a very talented, though inexperienced, QB and  wide out/running back who are very athletic and speedy. To me, it is very good news.Yet, there's still many a slip twixt cup and lip!!

Does anyone have the schedule to the Henry County Jamboree?

The match-ups will be determined at the annual participants fish dinner on July 20. The teams are:

  Milan

 Martin Westview

 Dresden 

 West Carroll

 Stewart County

 Paducah Tilghman (will play two different teams due to KSSAA rules- one will be HC)

 Henry County

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
