Lemme play lemme play.........let me guess a guy has been interviewed that was an sec running back and recently was the coach of a school that sp picked up but never got to play because they didn't have enough players or something like that. Would be an interesting hire for sure and would excite the kids and get them to stay in the program. Would also be interesting from a coaching standpoint also, I'm not sure how much experience he has at running a program. Ross was the same but he had a great mentor in Hal lamb. Would be very interesting to see how he handled Vic looking over his shoulder and the momas

I garuntee you as good of a coach you say that Ross man is he should have made them Marion boys chase chickens last week to make them real fast for the game on Saturday. I garuntee you that Beck man might have even told him if he left some of them jet packs laying around. That all black uniform with the power P didnt help either. I ain't joking.

Yeah those mc boys were really scared of that power p. if I remember correctly sp turned the lights out to stop the scoring binge.....

Yup, and just think how bad they would have beaten the pirates.......probably would have scored 100 on em.

Old Pirate wouldn't bet the house the Pirates wouldn't get beat awlfully bad, but you have repeatedly stated over and over and over again the Warriors would be in every game because of Jasper's guru DC! Sometimes we all get caught up in what is really good based on weaker competition. The fact the East was a lot weaker, the valley was a lot weaker, the Chattanooga area was a lot weaker. That is not to be a put down, jest fact. Old Pirate's question is "who will get back to the "Big Show First" ain't no program in the valley likely to make it any time soon! Sorry if that hurts anyone wearing Rose Colored Glasses, yep that means SP too. I don't think Ross will come back down there............

I'd like to see a young Christian man with lots of football knowledge and lots of passion.  A man who can be both a friend to the boys as well as a stern disciplinarian.  A man who will listen to parents and fans, but will have the ability to separate the smart from the stupid.  A man who won't accept anything less than 110% from his team and his staff.  He needs to be able to motivate his players, and be able to stand toe to toe with any referee without losing his cool.  He needs to be a man who will buy into Pirate pride lock, stock, and barrel,  and will use all his energies toward that goal.
