piratetom
Grider had a pretty good coaching record his first time but if he doesnt do good this time that sign on his scoreboard is coming down and he will get the bathrooms named after him. Is he going to charge more than that Moore man did to get into his stadium? You think im joking but im not. Now that is funny

FridayMainEvent
Good to hear Coach Grider is back. Luckily I already have his contact information...lol.. This will be great for the old Trousdale County rivalry that will surely be renewed in the post season. Creasy vs Grider! Can't wait. He better be filling out his survey and getting our boys to lifting weights. We are already behind. You think im joking but im not.
rikberry
This statement doesn't make much sense. Until the outlook is rosier? We lost a lot of seniors. If it was all about that he would have stayed and coached the 2013 SP team and tried to win another gold ball. He knew what he was doing, you can bet on that. You have to admit 2013 team did better than expected. And I think his hand was forced into returning before he really wanted to. THE KING LEON
This is big for South Pittsburg. I was hoping Vic would take control again. The ship will now be turning a corner.

rikberry
there you go claiming you know more than you do. Vic is never forced to make decisions...except from maybe his family. I did not say that anyone besides Vic himself forced Vic. I believe that he left with his eye on returning when times were better. He was probably a little burned out and he wanted some time to do somethings he wanted to do. It is natural to get burned out and bored. I am not saying anything against it, but to say anything else is disingenuine. It would have looked really bad if he waited another year or two when things were totally off the rails and then came back. He was forced by his desire to return someday and the gathering storm of circumstances.
