Nice team. One of the few times they have beaten Maryville.

In 1990 I believe WB beat Maryville 32-0 on the field but they had to forfeit the win because they put in an ineligible player towards the end of the game.

Real speed is when you don't have to break outside the hashes on long runs. It seemed like they did it a dozen times.

Think they only played 9 regular season games and finished 10-0.  They beat us, Clarksville High School, in the Civitan Bowl in Cookeville at Tucker Stadium, 27-7 and we went 9-1-1.  Watson, Mack and Kevin Tucker remind me constantly.

Knoxville Halls finished 14-1 in '96.  Don't have the schedule and scores but I think we only gave up 60 points in regular season and 90 total.  Cumberland Co. scored 10 and Pearl-Cohn scored 18 in the first half.  Only 2 teams to score in the first half against us all year.
