The Maplewood at Springfield game has supposedly been moved to Vanderbilt on September 4.

Dudley Field will packed. The only other SHS game I have seen at Dudley Field we won the Clinic Bowl.

With injuries yes, springfield was obviously much better as you can see from the score. I think without all the injuries though the game would've been much closer.

Injuries are a part of the game.  Can't do the woulda, shoulda, coulda.  If we did that then the Jackets could blame our loss to a very good HC Pats team the next week to the injury that Evan Lenk suffured in the BDP game.  With Evan out we lost an option at QB (he alternated with Barbee) and he was also our starting safety.  All I can say is he didnt get to play and we lost.

I agree with you, we played with what we had and yall handed it to us. I just don't agree that the jackets are way above and beyond the blue devils like was stated earlier. I expect this region to be very competitive. Pearl obviously being the favorite, but anything can happen.

What's up with everyone including Whites Creek in their Region 5, 4A predictions? Unless I am missing something, Whites Creek isn't apart of this region.

I agree the Region should be VERY balanced and this will lend itself to some exciting games. One of the things I like most is the fans in this region will travel. The Clarksville schools fan base would not travel well. The good competitive games with large fan bases should make for a GREAT atmosphere for High School football
