I garuntee you I don't mind bringing a durn chair but I'm going to have to make two trips to get my cooler, fudge rounds, Murphy Fair book and a chair. If they man from Ronnies red eye hours with me he can carry the cooler. If not I will have to walk a total of four miles. That Owensby man needs to have a durn shuttle. You think im joking but im not.

The KWN-TV Broadcast has been cancelled for tonight. During the discussions at the SVC Coaches Meeting, there was concern expressed regarding how many people could be filming from the Press Box and it was agreed that only the two teams representatives that were playing could be in the Press Box filming. 

 

We had intended for the Broadcast to show all of the Jamboree so that the kids from all the schools could get some extra exposure and also be able to have a nice memory of being on television. 

 

One of the coaches in the SVC did not feel the same way so the broadcast has been cancelled. Sorry folks...

Its a shame that a coach would feel this way, and nobody gains an advantage from filming a game played in Pikeville as the press box is not high enough. Another reason, besides the parking that I would argue on rotating the games between Dunlap and Jasper. No offense to you or the other schools, just those are better equipped to handle that much of a crowd.

Well it wasn't Coach Helton or Coach Grider. That narrows it down. Wow, I hate this for the kids. Would have been a great memory. It's a jamboree and having to cancel is ridiculous.
