Tom142
Wow, hate I missed this one! I'm proud of the 'nadoes for going toe to toe with hands down the best football program in this state. Sounds like our defense played their hearts out and Rankin dialed up some high risk- high reward plays when it mattered most and our offense executed them. Been saying our D-line would be the best on this side of the state since spring, but after tonight I would put them up there with anyone in Tennessee. Congrats to Maryville, first class team and first class coaching staff. Good luck the rest of the way, doubt you'll need it, but hopefully we'll see ya'll in Cookeville! STARSNBARS
Congrats to Maryville and best of luck the rest of the season. Very proud of the Tornadoes and how they continued to fight the second half. Maryville has a real good group in their Sophomore class, played a huge roll in the outcome of this game. Please remember James McKinney "Bubba" in your prayers. Still in a drug induced coma while they are trying to clean up the infection in his blood stream. Very touch and go and critical as of latest update. I am sure he would have been one of the first in line tonight Saim two Alcoee....623.......Keap me enformed on Bubba..... GovMan
How can you all complain about our referees? Just because Barry Mathis was the quarterback when the Red Rebels won one of their first State Championships doesn't mean he would favor MHS over AHS. Well perhaps I am wrong. Barry helped recruit some of our better players to the Red Rebel Machine! You know our motto at Maryville, when in doubt, Barry will help you pull it out! Love my Red Rebels and love you boyz! Am I dreaming? Is that really YOU Susie? Last time I remember hearing from you, the "abominable snowman" Jeff Drake was still changing my oil at the Fairview Fastlube. I've missed you dear.
mhs
Just read the paper. With all due respect to Coach Rankin there was a previous holding call made. And I don't guess the refs were "looking" for a personal foul when Dylan Hopkins was shoved into the brick wall ten yards out of bounds on our last drive either. Just sayin Edited September 12, 2015 by mhs
