They're 6-0, that's the only thing that is slightly scary. Slightly. SN hasn't played anybody. This will be their first real test. I say they manage a 60 on the test, but a 60 is still failing. Dogs should win this one. Good luck to both.

We let HV manage a 60% on the test last week...I hope that's left a bad taste in our mouths! If we're ready for tonight and EVERYONE comes to play, then we roll!

SN lacks the one big thing that allowed HV to play as strong as they did last week...SN lacks the bone-deep, unfiltered HATE that HV has for us! We'll see if I'm right in about 8 hours and 53 minutes

Men, Weather Channel has a 50% chance of scattered rain tonight...Accuweather has 24% and looks clear for game time.

It is what it is! I just hope DB's dont get trapped under their 400lb center!

GO DOGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He may be big but is he durable?  Just got a feeling that's going to be a ,,,"NO"

I'm no expert on North as I have only seen 2 of their games this year but I was really surprised that at both of those games the line swapped completely out. Their biguns do get a lot of rest during the game. They don't look like a top 10 team to me but they do have a will to win and you can be sure that if they get down they won't give up.

And (like it makes a difference) he is about 6'-5" and 355.

    • Never said I thought it was a smart decision. I'm scratching my head at it too.
    • If he wanted to play QB he should have either went to Heritage or William Blount and had a real good chance there. In stead he'll be exactly what he was going to be at Maryville. They already know who their QB is going to be in 2025 and it ain't going to be him.
    • Easier said than done. The man who ran for 250+ yards and 3TDs is gonna be back….and a lot bigger.
    • plus it removes the pressure around winning.
    • You are correct.   The teacher's pay scale is virtually the same in Knox County, now, as it is at Oak Ridge.   The coaching supplements are still higher at Oak Ridge, from what I was told, but not a huge difference.   Plus, Rusty is going from a position coach to an OC position, which is what he was at South Doyle and where his comfort zone is.  And from a special education teaching slot to a PE teaching slot.  There is a lot of positivity in that move without even considering the coaching aspect.   Anybody who sees something negative here is just looking for negativity to begin with.  But some live in that world.   Really good hire for Brent.  He now has two experienced and quality coordinators and can concentrate on being a head football coach.
