85warrior
guess yaul didn't play nobody all year! at least that's what you said about us! It goes to show you that you can be good enough to make the state(like OR and White County were), but if you have one off night at the wrong time you will be staying at the house. Very true. Basketball is a funny sport like that. A lot more unpredictable then say football. In football if you are the better team you're generally going to win, but not always the case in basketball. All it takes is one off night and the other team can't seem to miss. Dart
What if the World Series was like that? 1 game...
SweetScience
What if the World Series was like that? 1 game... Would make it a lot more interesting, huh? Baseball is even more unpredictable. Stroll out a pitcher and if he's on he can shutdown a powerhouse lineup if he's on that particular night. WillieTheWildcat
Tee Higgins of Oak Ridge was named Best player in the Knoxville paper. The article also discussed Tee's possibility of playing two sports in college. Besides dozens of football offers, he has basketball offers from Louisville, Auburn and Tennessee. He is realistic though and knows that would be very difficult to achieve.

WillieTheWildcat
Was this year's team the most disappointing in Oak Ridge basketball history? No, the 1981 St. Mary's Scarlet Knights captained by Willie the Wildcat hold the honor as being the most disappointing team in Oak Ridge basketball history. Seriously though, this year's team doesn't deserve to be called a disappointment. That is simply unfair when you step back and look at all they accomplished. Yes, the loss to DC still stings but I have moved on to spring football and boy's soccer.

SdotBears
Tee Higgins was named to the TSWA All State team. The more I hear about tee the more I become a fan of his. I know a kid in sevierville who thinks his football autographed by tee is gold
