Indian
Not whining, just asked a? It's been my view if CPA and the rest can play Division I, MBA, McCallie should also. And your numbers are off, if you look at the small numbers of private schools in Division I-compared to the numbers of playoff wins and success (27-9 so far in the postseason). Why are you so scared of a split? Afraid of equality? Afraid little Johnny will no longer have the advantage? Come on strip oops I mean step up!!! And there is no privates in 5A or 6a because those schools along with privates have all of the power. Easier to trample on the smaller schools!! Swipes
Nothing its just a name. I don't even know why it's a magnet and I went there lol. Now most of metro schools area open zones because of the law about equal education opportunities. A magnet school is a public school offering special instruction and programs not available elsewhere, designed to attract a more diverse student body from throughout a school district. I had buddy in college that was zoned for Hume Fogg and went to PC for football and the variety of classes that PC offered
coachrus
I'm pretty sure that with the new rules, you will get your wish. I don't see how the privates can stay. To do so would mean telling some current athletes they can no longer play. Will see soon how many privates leave DI.

I think a lot of people have forgotten the TSSAA has addressed this situation and now like you said we have to see how everything falls into place. I agree with you, it will be tough for private schools to stay in Division 1. I think this will affect more public schools than some think.
