So if the school board decided to bulldoze the property or move the school to another location, your just out of luck??

When the new Mt. Juliet High school was built the middle school moved into the old high school building and became I am sure the first middle school baseball program with an indoor facility. Yes it could happen. Doubt it will be for 35-40 years though.

Reason I ask is a situation here with Gallatin regarding the stadium. Seems like the QB Club wants improvements but the school board is hesitant to do structural improvements and the fear is them selling the property and then building another stadium or just closing the existing one.

And at the end of the day......

Coaches Coach

Players Play

Parents Parent

,Fans and sponsors do just that........ be fans and provide financial backing.....

I would if I were some of the folks who are fans of the program start a new thread called

"RD Football 2016 POSITIVE OUTLOOK" ......... just my O2......

Making just a coaching change is only a step to what has been needed to change this program around. The path for a positive future has been laid out before the new coach. Positive things come from results and seeing a change. Everyone is excited about the chance for improvement and change. Its now up to the new powers at be to give everyone something to be positive about. The old saying the proof is in the pudding. Lets see what the new coach can cook up..

The budget from the county for football goes mainly to field maintenance in Rutherford County Schools. Sponsors and financial supporter make up the vast amounts for equipment and facility improvements.

the question here is structural integrity of a stadium that has been for the most part neglected. The School

Board was advised in 2011 to make improvements but they did not happen. Now, like our county opponents, they want to make cosmetic improvements but the structural assessment indicates possible deeper problems. This falls on the school board and property up keep. Nobody wants to spend money and then have an accident or the property condemned. Responsibility falls on the owners which is the school board not the school or QB Club. If it was just applying paint or new railing then it would not be a big issue.

If I recall your stadium is still concrete bleachers correct? Tullahoma did a complete overhaul on their stadium which was similar. They should look at what they did to make improvements..

Agreed more to a positive experience for the players than just a coaching change but that is by far the biggest piece of the pie..... Next comes commitment from players and alignment with the coaches program,,,,, then positive support from the parents of the players on the team ...... Meaning if a parent has a complaint or does not like something and their concern has merrit and by merrit I don't mean the style of football that is played or if little Johnie isn't getting enough playing time ,,,,,, they take to the appropriate person and not publicly attack the team or do the same in front of the players.... Then strong support from the students, admin and community and lastly the financial support needed by the booster club that enhances the overall program....... The ability for a coach and his staff to change a culture requires positive support from the whole...... If that takes place good things happen.....

And culture change is not a sprint it is and always will be a marathon.....

Tullahoma got condemned and they fixed a side a year, until it was completed. Only the visitor side in concrete block, the home side is structural steel framing with aluminum seating. The concrete visitor side appears to be the main concern.
