Week 11: Coalfield @ Oneida

I am trying to decide between attending the SHS/McMinnCent game or this one, so I shall seek help from the Coalfield folks. There was a young man I went to college with name of Doug Lowe in the late 60's early 70's. He was from Coalfield as I remember. Does he live in/near there any more? Is he likely to attend the game? We were friends and team-mates and I'd like to see him again. If he is likely to be at this game, I think I would try to find him. Otherwise I'll probably go to the game at Scott.

I think both of these games should be good ones to watch.Ohs/Coalfield would be my pick tho!

Bust out the war paint....!  It is nearly time to get it on.  Though neither team probably likes each other, there is certainly a level of respect from both sides.  I know both teams want this one, but certainly both teams can be spoilers through the playoffs. (from either position)  Prediction:

Oneida - 24

Coalfield - 20

Hey....I have Oneida by 4.  I stated earlier that this game can go any number of ways.  Oneida has two hammers and Coalfield has a QB that throws it all over the field.  Watch the turnover stat because the team in the plus is going to dictate momentum in this one.  Oooh......I'm jacked.

I'm hoping to make the trip. I have never missed a Coalfield/Oneida game.

This game will come down to whoever executes their game plan better. Coalfield will want to throw it all over the field and mix in a little run. Oneida will be the exact opposite and try to control the clock and limit coalfields possessions. I think Coalfield will play their best football game of the year tonight and win this one by 21. 35-14 CF

I'm gonna take Oneida 17-13. I've been pretty dang close all year on my score predictions and I'm not talking about picking the margin of victory. I'm talking about picking the actual score. With that said, I have no confidence in my prediction this week especially not knowing if Lowe is playing. Even if he only plays offense, I'll take CF ONLY if they'll actually throw him the ball(which didn't happen near as much as it should have this year).
