Rough few yrs & growing pains. Whether 1-A ~3-A. We will be back. Just give us a little time. Oh & a coach to boot. Outstanding play to those 1-A teams hunting for that allusive "Gold-ball" good luck and hope an injury play This playoff season. Ya'll stay safe. & keepon -a-keepN' -on

Nothing but respect for TC 3putt, and I don't doubt that you'll be back sooner than late...tradition!

Trousdale won't be down long, too much tradition. There's to many coaches at bigger schools that make more money than Trousdale probably could pay that will want the job just because it's Trousdale. If the administration don't get in a mad rush to fill the position the coach with the perfect fit will show up

I thinking out loud here, just random thoughts: just getting to the finals is an amazing feat, to win it is awesome. And to do so multiple times... Oh.. My.. Goodness. Dude. Tons of respect to all such teams!!! And rather than find fault, take stabs at, or question these programs, doesn't it make sense to find out what they do, and then emulate them? Follow the same path to the winners circle they have laid out? Look at all these winners and find the common denominators and various ingredients of the winning recipe, then implement these things into one's own program? At least this crazy, simple old hick from the sticks thinks so. But whadda I know, eh?

Roy, No coach yet. As for a list, I'm certain that there is a list but Coach Satt prolly has it hidden. Alot of people were not happy with the selection last go around. I think this time, things will be different. I feel like the next man to lead the Jackets will be one that has roamed the Creekbank before. But whoever it is, they will have my support 100%. Once a Jacket, Always a Jacket!

Hopefully, for you guys sake, this time it will be better. We at Marion know all to well about coaching hires that had made us average or below. we went thru it foe almost 10 years or more. We are finally back to mormal. Looking forward to matchimg up with the jackets in the next few years.

What kind of mess is this? You call the the last five years around the jailhouse normal? LRDAO.... You need a quick recap? I garuntee you im not sure if your joking or not. I aint joking.

    • Understand the young thing.  I was one of those.  Barely 17 when I graduated from high school and started college.  But redshirting for athletic purposes isn't doing them any favors, in my opinion.  Life isn't always going to be fair.

    • The Girls Basketball team I am a part of played for a gold ball this season. One of the biggest differences in the sports is that there is no field prep/maintenance in basketball.   Our baseball is successful and play 30 games in the regular season as well. All of the teams dedicate A LOT of time in preparing for their next opponent.
    • Im pretty excited about the new rules that NFHS voted to adopt. Does anyone know if this will take place in Tennessee starting this year? I think I heard/read somewhere that the TSSAA bi-laws say they have to mirror what the NFHS does, and when the NFHS offered the current weight classes as options, TSSAA didn’t adopt them until NFHS made them official. Did NFHS make these changes official starting next season or will it be similar to the weight classes where TSSAA doesn’t change what they are doing until it is  an officially official part of the NFHS rule book? It’ll be interesting to see if it is rolled out for the new TSSAA Middle School season and I saw a post where the youth wrestling in TN was going to vote on adopting it as well.  I’ll pray for all the youth coaches that will have to shoulder the confusion from all those crazy #### parents who already think they know the rules more than everyone else  . Imagine the first time their kid is taken down and a 3 goes up on the scoreboard or their kid gets pinned with only one point of contact in the cylinder. Their heads might explode. i kid, I kid. Sort of. I’m surprised ride time was brought down with all the other changes. I know some argue that it promotes stalling on top, but its been an official scoring method in college forever, so I figure it must be doing something right. Do any of you think that’ll ever be implemented?
