Well, unfortunately I wasn't able to make it to a Maryville game this year and this is my first post of the year. I kept up with the season, but my year's been so crazy I couldn't make it to games. Proud of another year of solid success from Maryville. Oakland was just the better team tonight. Hope the Rebels get a bad taste in their mouths and come back stronger for 2017.

 

I also want to note that not a single Maryville fan has made a single excuse. Only given mad props to a darn good Oakland team. We aren't perfect fans, but most of us can recognize when we're beaten by a better team, and won't make excuses.

Maryville fans have a long hard ride home tonight. I am sure they will be on tomorrow. Hopefully they can let me know what had them so upset on the early Oakland play on the scoreboard end. All I could hear was the loud sound of their dis-satisfaction and could not see the play from the end I was on.

 

Oakland, DESIGNATE a get back Coach. Hopefully one that is not bouncing up and down on the sidelines himself! You almost got a stupid penalty tonight because of it. Gold Ball game there is NO excuse for it!

 

Am I being hard on Oakland, Yes I am. Better me do it now so hopefully they can get the Gold Ball next week. Fourteen down, ONE to go!
