truth your opinion will AE be in the game in the 4th qtr? Who do you want and expect to see in state on the west side ?

My thought are, absolutely they will be in the game late. The thing about AE is if you break down and miss a tackle, it is six points, where as a normal team it is just a big gain. AE has an offense that we struggle with, Read option, mobile qb and can sling it. Trezevant is gonna be on the west side. Top five rb in the country would make nearly any team the favorites.

IMO......Marion may get Road Runnered....!  I don't think Marion has faced a team with this much speed in so many positions.  A-E gets to the second level then Marion will lose that foot race.  I'm not seen too many teams with this much but someone could compare them to Greenville.  Now I know that bunch is out of the playoffs, but that is as close as I have seen as a comparison.  If Marion dominates up front then this game is a toss up because both defenses will have a tough time stopping the offenses.  A-E just had an off night last week.....trust me....yet they still playing.  Usually when you have an off night your done.  That is why Marion will have their hands full....!  Good luck to both.

totally agree....but if by road runnered you mean blown out, i really dont see that at all. Marion may very well get beat, but my feeling is that it is a four qtr game. I would assume that Marion is quite a bit better than Happy Valley, but who knows. Did you see ae have an off night, or just assume because the score wasnt lopsided? AE has played some really really bad defensive teams this year. Mc's defense is very very diciplined and does a great job the last three years of sealing off the edge and keeping the offense in front of them for the most part. There will be an occasional breakdown, sure, but not very often. Mc also rarely misses tackles. At the same time to win this game MC must not give up special teams scores via punt or kickoff returns. If the defense cant get pressure on Harper then it has no shot. They have been pretty good at that this year also. MC has some fast kids, but i am sure no where near what they will see friday night. They will be ready though.
