Yeah, that can be a killer, but I think the point a lot of people have is that a school the size of DB should have enough depth to not miss a beat.     But I just don't think that's the case. 

 

If you had been there, you would know that they didn't.    But the first string defense couldn't stop a spastic bowel.

One problem with that thought.Kingsports little Johnnys handled SH when they were in the 7th 8th and 9th but have lost several straight at the varsity level now.two straight Robinson teams alone .You don't have to leave NET to see there is a problem somewhere

The offense can play with any team in the state. The defense couldn't stop a middle school team. You need to open your mind a little. Pay attention in class.

DB's starting QB went down in the middle of the game with William Blount. Not saying that's why they lost, but surely didn't help.

Also, WB played by far their best game of the season up in Kingsport. So I guess that was just bad luck for DB. We played like shat otherwise.

Now,it's tme for a another DB football parent to step in for the kids on the T because my time has came and gone.Good luck to all those DB players I've watched over the years.Not quitting the T just stepping out of the way.

The 8th grade bunch appears to be pretty good. Be interested to see how they're handled at the high school level over the next few years.
