MC will change the defenses up: 2-3 zone, 1-3-1 zone (3/4 court and 1/2), and man 2 man.

Good size inside and they have several players outside who can hit the 3 point shot.

The only thing I wonder about for MC is the press....Central was able to bother them with their man pressure @ Cookeville. Will Tyner be able to bother them on a high school court?

I think it is a wire to wire game though and MC comes out on top by 3 points.

The Rams are the most overall athletic team MC will have seen all season. I've seen them play as well as seen film on them. They attack the rim they get in passing lanes and run the floor. #3 & #5 are both cat quick. They help on defense and pressure the ball. I'm pulling for MC but think the Rams come out on top.

Great job MC. I was sure wrong. Good luck in the state tournament!!

Great game by MC tonight! Tyner showed up to play. Pulled it within a couple late, but MC was able to hang on. Seth Carlisle for MC played the best game I've seen him play all year tonight. Hats off to both teams. I've had the privilege of seeing numerous games played in Nera White Gymnasium, but I have never been in that atmosphere. The crowd was rocking. Looking forward to seeing who MC draws for the state tourney. MC is riding a massive hot streak, and it appears that they may have quite a bit of steam left.

I have been saying MC was the real deal for awhile now. 3 of their 4 losses was to two A state bound teams. I guess being weak as water means you make it to the glass house. Congrats!

Not that it really matters now, but Ashburn DNP in 3 of those 4 games. Have to believe it would have been different had he been able to play, but again it matters little.

    • Problem with DB football goes beyond coaching. Like Waco said. Thr band is the main focus of their community and school. They have the resources to be a championship level team. Guarantee Ballard or Witten could have them nationally relevant at some point but everyone down to peewee would have to buy in and at DB we all know that would never happen.
    • I know the RB from OR he’s fast and has good hands. Is good on special teams also. Didn’t want to play defense over to the Ridge.
    • Lieutenant Flip flops is on a roll. #1 recruiter in Anderson Co, fo-sho.
    • Has there been any effort to contact college coaches other than Trevecca?
    • 5star put out and article about the QB competition for Clinton like they have 9 other schools. They listed a QB that was previously on Powell’s roster last year. He was the Frosh that could throw great wearing number 5. He was not mentioned as a transfer.  HC was quoted in getting two running back transfers one being from OR that has been mentioned on these boards as well as another from TKA.  I had heard about these and more transfers. It is impressive that Clinton is able to steal away from the recruiter at Powell.  I wonder if the issue with the principal will change that or open the gates even more.
