Yes it's true, and there have been a couple of names mentioned that would be considered "good" choices. One is close to the system but wishes his name not be mentioned...the other is Riley (MS coach). None of this has come from administration, but from "in the know" public.

Brown has been there for a long time, but finally low mouthed (rumor) kids long enough that the administration had had enough. He has been the subject of rumors for the last few years, along with the girls coach, to be replaced.

This is a shame! This is going to be a tough fill. McNairy graduated their best player, not a lot coming back and have to face Adamsville 2X a year in District play starting this year and losing to Adamsvile is bad juju for McNairy. Not to mention Southside and Lexington who have been top 2 or 3 each of the last 4 years. Good luck finding somebody!

Amen to that.  Good luck finding someone this late who wants in with Southside, Lexington and now Northside and in county rival Adamsville.   Makes no sense 

who ever is in charge is killing the program.  I didn't like Brown but if a change was coming should have been done along time before now.  Ridiculous

Maybe an interim for a year? Or maybe an assistant is ready to take over but I don't see anybody coming in right now.

That would be a great hire. I always believe that people that graduate from they Alumni school care about it much more than bringing someone in.
