Marion at Coalfield (Mathis man vs that Henry man)

A lot of people are not mentioning one thing about the Warriors struggles. Special teams. They have not been up to par. Last week there was a 1 yard punt that hurt them against Tyner. Yes, everyone knows they have talented skill guys and a subpar line but it's the special teams factor that is hurting them as well.

I'm not trying to be mean but it won't take world beaters to push around the purple team up front.. Marion has some speed though. And that's why I think they make it a better game than some think. They also have a pretty solid guy that can go up and get it at wideout. I really look forward to seeing how this one plays out.

Hero like I said we need to meet. Bass hates it when you question his opinion or football knowledge. I think you're right. I'll say again, I thought it would be next year for us but these guys have really impressed. In the past you could always pick a glowing weakness with us but these YOUNG guys and our upperclassmen are pretty solid everywhere. We may need additional dependable receivers but who can cover kennemore

Marion has no back that can pound it up the middle like here in recent years makes their offense one dimensional..you shut down the edges their offense is done. Can't pass to Hale running for your life or laying on your back. Coalfield by as many as they please.

Good observation

Can a west tnt Golden Tide fella jump in and ask a question? Is Marion just in a severe down year? I'm seeing Coalfield by a couple of T.D.S?Is this just a lil ribbin or a true possibility?

Just a small school who lost a lot of good players these past few years. Inexperienced line makes a big difference when your offense revolves around running the ball.

Agreed to an extent, but we are playing a ton of youngans this year also and it's being made like Marion isn't remotely competitive!?

MC has lost two games that they had double digit leads in during the 4th quarter.  The other loss was to SP and no it wasn't close.  This is the hardest schedule we have had in years while replacing a lot of good players but we do have talent and expect to be a threat in the playoffs.  This team could easily be 4-1.  As for Coalfield they look very good and haven't been challenged at all this year but I expect us to be competitive.
