We cant stay on the forums all the time. We actually have more than 1 gold ball to keep polished. Sorry we been a little busy.

Don’t stop polishing balls that doesn’t win games.  y’all only practice offense anyways right ?

Yeah, we've dropped the veer. It's boring. We're running the A11 offense now. Y'all should really work on your pass coverage defense this week.

THIS is TRUE ... Drove by practice and all they were doing was chunking it up ... Heard we had a couple bigtime players finally get eligible ... I agree ... Forget the veer ... Y'all better get your pass defense in order ... "Fit Formation - 18 Razor" ... LOL

UC averages 41 points per game.  Peabody averages 36.  I'll take a scoring match.

& Peabody’s defense averages just giving up 11 points a game... while Union City’s defense is averaging giving up 25 points. I really don’t think Union City wants to get in a scoring match. Trust me

& I’ll add this, outside of UC’s loss to Mayfield, Peabody’s defense held Union City to their lowest scoring total all year of 21 points. Peabody’s defense should keep UC in check most of the night.

I know this will be a great game & given the rivalry between these two schools, there is nothing but great football to be expected. Having said that, I just think this Peabody team is a lot better than what Union City is. Don’t get me wrong, I know Union City is stout & they are very talented & coached very well also. But Peabody has more athletes & I think they beat Union City up front as well. If Peabody can keep from any injuries & they can execute their game plan, I don’t think this football game will be as close as what everyone thinks. Just my opinion though. We all know how that goes lol. You can’t put all your marbles on a bunch of high school kids lol.

    • I have no clue if Derek tried to talk some since into his dad or not about staying here. All he is going to accomplish is going from the oven to the frying pan. If I were the coach all Ale would freze over before I set back and watched one of my good players leave without a fight.
    • If this is true, South Gibson is taking a big chance. Passing on an experienced coach for a guy who has never coached at the high school level is a high risk move, especially in that district and region.
    • Dorian Eskridge was HVA's best back, 2011
    • Jo Byrns was a very solid team last year. Imo, I thought they presented the biggest challenge for us on our path to winning it all last year. I expect them to be in the conversation and one of the final few teams playing in Murfreesboro
    • I'm not sure you understand anything if you think DB's career and AD's career are comparable.  This is a terrible take.   Not to slight AD, He was a good player and he got better as he matured after high school.   But Desean had over 8,000 yards in HS and was a two-time Mr. Football.
