Oakland should be on a mission this year. It sucks to think you are destined to win it all and have your dreams shattered the last 5 mins of the championship game. But the Cream (Whitehaven) rose to the top when it mattered. Going for Chip #3..#RespectDaHaven

I really think this may be the case for Oakland but there are still remnants of the Red Dragon  in Blount Co. It's a home game too?! I'll be peaking on this thread all next Friday.

I would even say that the young ball coach carried the old ball coach the last several years. This year's offense has been completely dominant but for week two. We will find out Friday if that was more Oakland or more injuries.

Seems like the old ball coach is doing fairly well in his new gig (outside shot at the playoffs). Guess you think he has a couple of GA's carrying him down there?

Not an outside shot.  They are in.  Furman plays at Elon in the first round.

No idea what's going on in the SoCon. I don't follow it, but I'm sure the HOF'er is holding his own. Its hard to deny how well the offense has played at murvil this year. The slow starts have disappeared.

We will have to agree to disagree because, respectfully, I think the original comment is ludicrous and disrespectful. If the comment was meant in jest I apologize.

GO REBELS!!!!!

It's all good plumb. Anybody (including me) who pokes at the old coach is crazy. His numbers are incredible and he is a hall of famer. But he moved on and would likely admit he had plenty of help throughout the program - especially the garbage service! The young coach is on his way to 251.
