Big $$ donors paying the coach should be fun to watch. With big pay comes expectations of big results. If they are paying PW more than DW who just played in state finals then results are expected. Good luck to PW.

ocac
How is Paul Wade doing Down by the Stones River? He landed a tradition rich job. Tough to replace Dennis Goodwin.

Coaching staff that has been put together is very good with BJ Coleman coaching the QB's.
Sackmaster50
Things seem to be pointing in the right direction for DCA. Administration appears to be supportive of the new ball coach and most of the wildcat nation is standing by in support as well. It will be fun to follow the new journey that is beginning down on the riverbank of the stones. Edited June 22, 2018 by Sackmaster50

PC, I agree they have good coaches and lot of excitement building. What happened to have the low #s. Seems like when I saw a couple games 3 or 4 years ago they had close to 40 players

Numbers are down a bit in the freshman class also. The middle school will have 25 out with a HUGE line. They should be very good this year. Hope to see you at midnight madness. We will be tailgating starting around 10:30 pm.
cbg
After speaking with several middle school and high school football coaches the numbers appear to be down in many schools. The bad publicity regarding head injuries seems to be a hot topic for the low numbers along with kids are just electing not to participate in any after school activities.
