Congratulations to the all eight teams that made it to The Murphy Center. List below are the Elite 8 teams! Voice/type all your thoughts, predictions, and updates here! Should be a good one.

Alcoa 21-10

Cheatham County 28-1

East Nashville 28-8

Gatlinburg-Pitman 22-12

Haywood 23-12

Macon County 28-6

Upperman 34-0

Westview 32-2

Draw in about an hour. Alcoa and GP will be on opposite sides. Macon and Upperman will be on opposite sides. Chatham and East Nashville will be on opposite sides. By default Haywood and Westview will be on opposite sides.

Im sure they are very good. Westview vs Cheatham will be a war. Closer to home I would give Cheatham the edge....Should be a burner of a game

I’m just saying because you said anything less than Cheatham vs Upperman would be an upset but I doubt many people see Westview being in the championship game as an upset

Just curious...What competition did Westview play that would equal the level that Cheatham faced? Just looking for a point of reference.

I guarantee you Cheatham hasn’t seen the competition that Westview did in Arizona at the Nike Tournament of Champions. Their only common opponent this year has been South Fulton and Westview beat them by 30 and Cheatham by 17

Time out... what makes everyone so sure Cheatham Co. will be playing against Westview?  I wouldn't count Macon Co. out just yet.

Westview vs upperman for the gold....anything less would be an upset. I think most will agree with that. Don't go by the records. 

I'm not sure cheatham gets by Macon. Macon has 6 loses but 4 are to upperman. They are very good. Cheatham girls are good but they don't have any height. The best team they played beat them in summertown.

Upperman vs east should be a good quarterfinal.
