Very impressed with the poise of a young GF team. You can’t rattle them! They win going away by a dozen minimum. Every body thought Elizabethton would win three in a row with their stacked team after they won heir first as sophomores and we see how that turned out. Not1toFwith
Summertown is gonna play like they're playing with house money..... They are the first team in the history of Summertown basketball (boys or girls) to have made it to the finals in the thousands of teams that have made to state from S-town. They have nothing to lose and I hope play that way. Both coaches have a ton of respect for each other and I hope this is a classic. Look for Reily Brazier to gaurd Moore and Josie Franks to gaurd Darby. We'll see if they have more success than the rest that have tried. Go Lady Eagles! Vandychris
I want to see how the freshmen at Summertown handle the big stage. Being faced with the pressure and speed Greenfield brings to the table, will they wilt or will they exceed all expectations and put their names on the map. I hope it is the latter. Good luck Lady Eagles!!!!!

Jaychapman
Don’t want refs to take over game either / just call consistent/ let them play don’t make call like end game Bradley - Houston

Chloe looked like Chloe today, she can score or get fouled whenever she carries it to the hole. She is smooth and like you said doesn't turn it over very often. We have got to shut down there 3 Pt shooters, get a hand in their face. These two teams will both be the teams to beat next year, great matchup of young talent. Summertown is losing 8 seniors so I’m not sure how much talent they’ll return next year. I know they have a couple of very talented freshmen. They're losing 8 Srs (6 that play) so nxt yr will definitely be a rebuilding yr but wth Jenna Brazier and Kaley Campbell playing as 8th graders last yr and Haley Jones playing a ton as a freshman this yr they will have 3 kids wth a lot of experience. I'd say the goal will just be to get back here nxt season tho. In 2 yrs when those 3 freshmen are JRs , watch out! Gotta a great group of 7th and 8th graders behind um
Greenfieldfan
These Greenfield girls started early (little dribblers and developed fundamentals early thanks to Coach Tori (Jr High coach and little dribblers coach) and many others. Many parents have devoted time and effort and much travel time. Coach Willie Trevathan has molded these girls into a team with a team attitude. I love the interviews these girls have had on tv, they are focused and not interested in individual awards. It takes everybody in a small town to build a program like we have and I am truly enjoying every moment this week. The future looks bright for Greenfield Girls Basketball. One more game! It's been fun Edited March 10, 2018 by Greenfieldfan

I think these two teams are prime examples of starting the fundamentals early and getting good at the right things. Watching both teams you can't tell if they're right or left handed until they shoot. They play as a team and for each other. Pulling for Summertown and hope we get a gold ball instead of silver but will be the 1st to congratulate Coach Trevathen and Greenfield if it doesn't work out my way!
