 I heard that nut ball on the radio too. That was one of the dumbest statements  I’ve ever heard.  Besides being incorrect.

Outside of rhea and McMinn, Knox area refs are the worst by far! Hated traveling to those places.

Catholic has some good D-1 talent, but I think Maryville is a better team, although I am not sure they are quite up to some of the previous years teams. Should be a good ball game.  Ill take the Rebels in a close one.

IrishBBall  I would take all three as to have a school full of boy's that would pass up playing high school football on Friday Night to be at McDonald's trying to upsize people's fries.

Catholic is trying to get Jeremy in trouble. From the KNS.

 

An athletic department (UT) staffer whose children attend Knoxville Catholic donated the tickets. A different athletic department staffer who had no connection to the fundraising event donated sideline passes to a local church, which offered them as an auction item to Knoxville Catholic without notifying the UT staff member.

“The items provided both directly and indirectly, by UT’s athletics department, to assist in raising money for programs of the high school were impermissible,” the university’s report states.

No prospective athletes benefited from the auction funds, according to the report. At the university’s request, Knoxville Catholic rerouted the money raised on the items to St. Joseph School, which serves kindergarten through eighth grade.

The university issued a letter of admonishment to the staff member who donated the football tickets and a letter of education to the staffer who donated the sideline passes, and the SEC and NCAA took no further action.
