How did region 7 have a down year? This makes no sense. Peabody (region 7 2A team) defeated Adamsville (region 7 2A team) in the 2nd round. Union City (region 7 2A team) then defeated Peabody in the quarterfinals. Union City went on to win the state championship... Only 3 teams out of this region make the playoffs & they had to beat each other to advance. I think the statement you made is completely inaccurate & wrong.

From what I saw in those games, getting back this young man really helps Peabody open up their offense. The kid reminds me a lot of his older brother that played QB some years ago & went on to play at Bethel. I’m not sure if he is as accurate of a passer yet but he is very much a dual threat like the older Baugus boy was. The only thing holding Peabody back now is how good is there defense going be? I’m still putting my money on UC or Waverly to represent the West in Cookeville. 

I think the defense should be good. We lost some of the line but linebackers and secondary is basically the same as last year. There wasn’t but a few games any team scored more than 14 against last years defense.

Region 7 getting started early. We get to face Jackson Christian. This is a preview of our new region for for next year since we will be moving to D2 next year. I think We are ready. Last year we won 54-0. That’s just a region 7 smack for last year. Hope to see something close to that this year. Let’s get it started. I dont think I will Sleep tonight. My boy is a senior this year and I am ready for the ride. In the jungle the mighty jungle the Lions sleep tonight!!!!
