That feeling is probably just indigestion. Nothing a good #2 can’t fix. :)

How many starters did you guys graduate ?  Just out of curiosity.  It’s hard to make a prediction at this point but I heard y’all didn’t do to well in yalls  scrimmages. I don’t even know if that’s true.

I’m not sure the number of starters that we lost but talent and personnel will not be an issue. As far as scrimmages go we did take some lumps to Henry Co and Dburg both of which will be really good this year. We have some new coaches trying new this with the kids in lots of positions so it happens. In the jamboree last week we beat McKenzie 21-0 in 2qtrs and beat Humboldt 62-6 last night so hopefully things will come together. How did the new qb do for you guys last night?  I have heard he is really talented.

We scored on them with the third string Holbrook at qb would have been same outcome

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
