No disrespect to Camden but unless they got 20 players come in since we scrimmaged em then eww doggie it is gonna be a long dreary night for Camden!!! They struggle with speed something  fierce,I know we only were a preseason game but when it's as bad as it was,I don't know how there could be that much improvement! Hopefully a injury free game for both teams!!!

That team you scrimmaged looks nothing like this years squad. I was there too.

I know they have probably improved, however lack of athletic ability cannot improve, sorry, big and slow won't get it done against the Stanks! I do believe Camden is solid and will have a winning season, that being said teams like Waverly amd Huntingdon are just to athletically gifted for them to hang with!!!

38-13 Huntingdon at halftime. So far it's been a game of big plays. I've been impressed with the size and physicality of Camden's D line. Stuffing the box has forced Huntingdon to open the playbook up to the passing pages.

Camden's 2 scores were on a kickoff return and a Camden fumble that bounced back up into another player's arms who ran it on in for the TD.

Huntingdon will likely stuff it down their throats in the 2nd half.

No Running clock. Moral Victory for Camden!Looks for moral victory in the win loss column....aint there ?

That was the most disciplined Huntington team I have ever watched  (about 10 years I aint  from round here ). They played a good clean game of football. Not a  single 15 yard personal foul. They helped Camden players up. Played with class. It was  almost like ya'll got a new coach and I mean that in the best of ways.   The worst part about Playing ya'll in the past was all the extra unnecessary stuff not  so tonight .

ya'll played a great game and I wish you the best the rest of the way..never said that before  but if ya'll can change I can too!

    • I have no clue if Derek tried to talk some since into his dad or not about staying here. All he is going to accomplish is going from the oven to the frying pan. If I were the coach all Ale would freze over before I set back and watched one of my good players leave without a fight.
    • If this is true, South Gibson is taking a big chance. Passing on an experienced coach for a guy who has never coached at the high school level is a high risk move, especially in that district and region.
    • Dorian Eskridge was HVA's best back, 2011
    • Jo Byrns was a very solid team last year. Imo, I thought they presented the biggest challenge for us on our path to winning it all last year. I expect them to be in the conversation and one of the final few teams playing in Murfreesboro
    • I'm not sure you understand anything if you think DB's career and AD's career are comparable.  This is a terrible take.   Not to slight AD, He was a good player and he got better as he matured after high school.   But Desean had over 8,000 yards in HS and was a two-time Mr. Football.
